The back lane to work was closed today, so I had to feel the full force of the wind on the Military Road instead. I took this picture at Brook Beach. I was honestly scared when I took the piccy. I opened the door of the car and it was promptly wrenched open. I manfully leaned into the wind, managed 5 steps, took the picture and got blow back to the car. Driving to work was more like flying a kite than driving. I was going to take a picture from the top of the headland at Blackgang Chine, but chickened out. What a wimp, eh?

she is a howler listen to the wind and hear the souls of lost seamen!!!! `Howler` and `lost seamen` really shouldn't be put in the same sentence. Nice picy Steve, looks like they got the forecast right for once, though the blow didnt last long!
