were is meon beach Hillhead, Chalkie. West of Lee-on-Solent. The cliffs you can see in Steve's Picture are what you'll see some of us who fish around there refer to as 'Hillhead cliffs', or 'Brownwich Beach'. The 'Meon' bit refers to the river that flows down past Titchfield (near Fareham) and out through the little harbour at Titchfield Haven, close by. |
