right, i'm bored and not tired enough to go to bed just yet. i'm in the process of creating a sort of database of as species pics as i can, most caught by me but some not, it's the fish im after!! i thought i'd share what i've got with you scince im so bored! Ballan wrasse  Black bream  Cod  Conger eel  Corkwing wrasse  Dragonett (i think??) female??  Dogfish  Garfish  Goldsinney wrasse  Herring  Launce  Mackerel  Ling (lyle's PB of 28lb12oz, he only fished one drift that day!!)  Poor cod  Pouting  Pollack  Scad  Flounder  Smalleyed ray  Thornback ray (she's holding it the wrong way round and she's gonna kill me!!)  Starry Smoothound (i hate this pic but its the only hound pic i've got)  Whiting  Scorpion fish  and that's your lot! |

Good idea to get a pic of every species you have caught. Only had a camera for location shots for just over a year.

im half thinking of going down the pier today for a few hours species hunting, see if i can get a new pic or two. i should defo improve on my species list '07. size 12 hooks ahoy!!

a few more wrasse pics for ya manged four species today on the pier i grew up on!! corkwing, ballan, goldsinney and POUT! (the smallest pouting i've ever seen too!! loads of em!) colourful corkwing  double shot! (diddy pout and corkwing) just to get an idea of the size, thats a size 12 hanging out it's gob  goldsinney  |

thanks for that! you see, the words "chesil beach" and "half decent hound" are rarely used in the same sentence!! well certainly not with me! don't mind if i blag it for my collection do you?... too late
