Just got back from a five day break in Purbeck - if you can call it that. I think the only thing that's breaking is my back, after attempting to sleep on an airbed under a sheet of nylon in a damp field ! Never again - I'm thinking of investing in a small touring caravan and siting it down there.
Anyway, here's some shots of some of my favourite bits. Unfortunately I didn't get much in the way of fishing oportunities, but I'll be back .....
Caves and ledges at Tilly Whim:

A 'secret' spot we go to - we've called 'the beach at poo corner' - for reasons I won't go in to !
Not 500 yards away Studland beach was heaving with thousands of reddening grockles, but here was like a desert island :
Looking the other way. I did a bit of spinning on the point you can see in the background. No joy but a sizable bass swirled the water near the edge by some rocks. We had to leave shortly after, but I'm sure they would have been pushing round in the channel just off the point with the incoming tide .....
Plenty of mullet in the margins as well.
