The second piccy is of ...Pullpit rock you can climb it if youve a head for heights and are happy fishing off such a precarious spot...it is a reknowned Eel /Bass/Pollack mark throught the season. just to the right of it there is a ledge about 40 yds out which is good for spinning over at mid tide...although lots of peeps float fish it for gars/mack in the summer.
The crane piccy is quite a large bay.....if its the first crane past the lighthouse.....Ive sat there watching countless fellers in the summer catching wrasse/pollack but its a tackle graveyard. Good spot for lure fishing though.
past the second crane is a point that juts out where the tide races past but in the western lee of the point it seems to hold good Bass/Pollack but again its a mutha of a drop down into like a shallowish back eddy.....looks real fishy.

I've fished off there - it is a scary place when the swell runs .... those pics are awsome - the cranes are way up the rocks so breakers like that - scary stuff !

thats impresive ,portland race is quite a sight in a boat with the tide pissing though. iv fished off that point few years ago on a flat calm day in blazing sun, shows what a diffence a bit of wind makes ....lol was cracking day when i fished there with light gear on a float. had loads of wrasse. as we left the real anglers where turning up for the big stuff at nite. would not mind having ago at the bigger stuff
