Taskforce

I have aquired a taskforce 22 fishing boat as a fixer uper project.
does anyone out there no much about these boats. were they come from, how they perform. all i was told was it was made on the Isle of wight.
any help would be greatly appreciated

The only taskforce I know ws an 18foot dory nice boats is your 22foot a dory?

The one i've got is not a dory. its fitted with a cabin and inboard but from a few i've seen on the boats & outboards sites they all share the same hull design.
i've got a couple of pic's i could show but i cant figure out how to put them on. anyone got a guide for dummies on how to do it. i've tried the insert image box and nothing happens

I upload my photos to a free hosting site, I use photobucket, Very easy set up & uploads.

Once your photos are uploaded beneath them will be three links for each photo - url, tag & img

Copy the 'img' link & then paste directly into your post on a seperate line free of other text.
Easy as that!, the photo's whilst on photobucket can be resized & played about with.

Thanks for that. who say's you can't teach an old dog new tricks. well if you have taught me the photo should be on the link below. thanks again guys.
I have been working on the boat for around 6 months and have gutted it of all woodwork. only GRP left. i have repainted cabin and fitted new windows or should i say re-vamped the old ones but as you can see there's tons left to do.

taskforce are a cathedral hull the same as dell quay,wilson,nab dory.The good thing is they slam less due to the middle chine being being forward of the outer chines.Nice boat ali windows good radar arch a good stable sea boat.Would go well with 200hp turbo ;D

No turbo but there is a 200HP petrol inboard that is sitting on my garage floor that i removed so i could de rust in the comfort of home. not had it going yet. all the internals were fine it was just filthy dirty and caked in salt deposits. most of tha alloy bits haviing dissolved like the distributer. all that was left of that was the cams and shaft. so thats whats going to drive her. cost of replacing with a diesil was to much. i would have had to use an awful lot of 4 star petrol to recoupe the difference and as the boat was a budget buy to start with i would have ended up spending as much as it would have cost to buy a boat already in good nick.
