Does everyone buy their flares mail order or is there a restriction on sending them through the post?

Best price I have seen on the web is about £69 for a coastal pack.
2 x Red Flares
2 x Parachute
2 x Smoke flares
This pack is for 3 to 7 miles off shore
Might be worth some white anti-collision flares as well, especially if you are worried about larger craft about you!

Hi Pete i work for TNT for a while as a artic driver the rules and regs are so strict now. and we the hgv drivers have to have an ADR licence but the guys in the small 7.5 tonners 99% only have a car licence and at £600 per licence you would pay throu the nose for the goods, you would be better off going to your local chandler. send an email to steve at JK-max he has a mate in Eastleigh that deals in them. www.jkmax.co.uk/ |
