does anyone know anything about the above boat. seen on the boats and outboards but cannot find alot of info/reviews. things i like are the price and the weight is low for a pilothouse so my car will tow it ok. cheers

Based on what little I know of them, here is what I think: for an 18 foot boat you get very little fishing space, the cabin, which is not much use in a fishing boat, takes up half the hull. If you want it for overnighting, fine, but 18 foot is a bit small for that. The weight will go up a good deal when you hang a big outboard on the back, add a roller-coaster trailer (you'll need it) and all the additional equipment you will fit. However, for an 18 foot trailerable (with a 4x4 to launch it) it looks a comfortable boat and the wheelhouse gives good shelter. Nice to have a boat finished like a real boat and not just bare fibreglass like a work boat. However two fishing will be plenty. To be honest it is a bit of a compromise, an 18 footer with less cabin will give a better fishing platform, or if you really want the accomodation go larger. Nice lines though.
