Cant say I have used one as bait!!.............Depends on how much money you want to spend......Personally I use one or two cool bags (you can get these from tesco for a couple of quid) load with a couple of ice packs and they work a treat.........also just the right size to keep two five pound boxes of squid frozen all day.

I can't tell you a specific type of coolbox as the ones I use are big enough for lots of beer ;D I guess you'd be after a small one.
The best make that I've used would be coleman, I've had other makes (can't remember the names) but they always seem to crack and split on the inside. My colemans have always been very good.

I fine that the best bait cool boxes for the money are the Coleman Flip Top Coolers 5 Quart and only cost a £10
