does it have to be a 2 piece suit? i have had a fladen extreme for a few years now and cannot fault it. it lives permanently on my boat and has had some serious abuse, but it is a one piece.

There must be commercial ones made by someone, it'll be good to find out. I'm in the market for one myself but the few I've had a look at in the tackle shop seem fairly flimsy!

Just been having a look round, the sundridge seems to be the best rated, they are the biggest manufacturers in Europe, look good!

When I was looking to replace my old Sunridge I ended up with a one piece Fladen.
Looking at the additional buoyancy and quality of stitching I have not regretted it.
I have also tried it out in a swimming pool when doing my RYA life savers course, superb but like all suits a sod to try and climb out of the water.
If you go for a 2 piece make sure you have crutch straps on the jacket otherwise it will just float up over your mouth, not good if you fall into the water on a choppy day!

I got the SAS mk 2, Bloody good, though a tad difficult to have a pee, you almost have to undress as the leggings come upto the chest, not nice on a cold night, can't fault the jacket though. Also got a Sundridge one Piece Polar suit( don't know if they still do them) Fleece lined, TOO Warm, except on the coldest nights.
