got daz one of these few months ago, hes a bit of a magpie and the reel does look blingy ............
ok not as smooth as an abu etc but for the money you cant grumble, casts ok and the drag is decent , quick retrieve as well
all in all not a bad reel

Ive got one, had it for a month or so. Got it for £45 brand new from bloke who used to have the fishin shop in ryde. I get on with it really well, i think i cast better with it than my abu. Dont think you can do better for the money!

had one for a while, can honestly say its crap. drag is ok to start with but after a month or so you could do it up with pliers and still have a half decent fish empty the spool. loved it at first but really deteriorated very fast.

The main problem that I have heard about the okumas is the amount of line that they hold. A big caster will empty them, not that I know about that mind! On the plus side they are cheap and easy to use straight from the box and the mags are very powerful so great for people learning to cast with a multiplier.

so far dazas one has been fine, the drag is still good.......but does get loosened off after each trip. its only used as a lobbing reel with 25lb line and seems ok for now ...... had it 5-6 months i suppose , it was cheap and blingy :stoned:

I've had 2 since launch and think that they are great reels
they do hold less line than an ABU 6500 but i haven't managed to spool mine yet
Drags are still good after 2 years or so. I think that they are great for the money.
The only thing that I would say is that you can sometimes get an original 7HT for similar money and that is a better long term bet
