Just bought myself a new Century CCC LD and am very impressed .... Really nice looking rod - as stated in the model, LD is for the low diameter of the rod. Its very light, rated at 4-7oz & casts like a dream... ..am very tempted to get another! ;D

How would you rate it for big baits at medium distances mate? I heard that the 'CCC' is because it bends in the shape of a 'C' with a big through action. Anyway can't afford another rod after buying a Conoflex Anubis last month

Anyway can't afford another rod after buying a Conoflex Anubis last month Yep - the blurb on the rod states that it creates a curve like a 'C' when under full compression.....used it for the first time at the weekend with large cuttle baits & 7oz - handled it a treat! ;D Also suppose to be equally as good with small worm baits..although yet to try that Sounds nice Go on...you know you want the pair ;D You tackle-tart! I'm only jealous... Get another one , t'would be rude not to! Yes.....I think it may have to!!!...... out with the Zziplex and in with another CCC LD for the matching pair!! ;D

I've had one for a few weeks now, and although is casts well with big baits, i find that the bite detection aint that good for the smaller fish. Not compaired to my grays anyway.

If you get a pair, could you take pictures of them together in suggestive poses?
Maybe lying next to eachother with the duvet pulled back... Phwoar!
I'll get me coat.

talk dirty to me Beaky...............lolol I wanna hear sum more about the CCC fella its like sex wrapped around a mandrell from what ive been reading about the blank. The top honcho at Century suggested the LD CCC to me as ive a dodgy back mate....he sed it would be so much easier to compress and gain a good distance with a big bait and 6 or 7 oz ......ima bit confused as I always thought that a stiffer bottom half of a blank would be needed to exert enuff forward motion for a big bait and heavy weight ......just goes to show that a " Through action " tool like this one is doin the bizz. Im gaggin to get me hands on one to try. Enjoy em mate. out of interest wot sort of distance have you achieved with it so far.........that is of course if your into casting distance nadgers. Gazza
