nice one m8, just the job been thinking about getting a bigger lump on my 535 to get the same speed for less fuel an think we may have been fishing few marks together over the years...lol give us a shout when you next see this tub with a fat bartender in the back of it

monkeynuts ill keep an eye out for you mate,i love the 4 strokes had loads of 2 strokes but would never go back.you will save a fortune on gas. mind you as you work on boats youll know that.

the newer 2 strokes are pritty good on fuel,not quite as good as a 4stroke, but no where near as bad like my old girl id like to get a 4 stroke but il have to look at the pennys and see how far i can go, other wise il go for a 60-90hp 2stroke yamy

monkeynuts what are you running at the mo is that a 50 merc. we use to have a 60 merc on the hardy and that had a thirst we use to use 3+tanks on the trips out side the needles from keyhaven.

nice boat was warned not to buy one like john's older version by a life boat guy saying they keel ride in a following sea so I got a coatworker 21 instead

yes its a 50 merc all of 42 years old and its very thursty, flat out it burns around 6 gallons an hour, hense i dont go to far as its cheaper to go on a charter like andy has said mine it a bitch in a following sea but its never scared me...................yet. even got back in 1 peice from west leap when thay balls up the forcast , started out nice day , force3 then got rough as hell i an hour next thing coast gaurd gives out imanant gale warning i was on my way home in seas building all the time, must have taken 18months b4 my missus came out agian(ahhhh bliss, )
