Although she is now 15 years old, and I have had her for 13 of those, she is still going strong. The Trophy used to be built under the Bayliner brand but now has its own brand (athough still built by the same company). They may be factory-built, mass-produced boats but they are designed for fishermen and packed with angling features. Salar originally had a 4.3litre V6 petrol guzzler but 4 years ago I swapped it out for a 164HP Diesel Mercruiser. She goes well: Here is the stern view - she has a massive beam and the open cuddy with swivelling seats provides lots of fishing space: Under the helm seat there is a pumped fish well, here full of joeys: Up front there is a wide walkaround deck which is very safe - the deck is actually a few inches below the top of the hull. The funny bowsprit is very handy, it keeps the anchor away from the hull when pulling up, and provides a very secure storage. Inside there is a Vee berth for two, a third berth tucked under the co-pilot seat, a coolbox/fridge, sink, portapotti toilet and I have added an Origo stove. All this in 23 feet. And no, I'm not planning to sell any decade soon.

Treated as well as a fishing boat can be! (Don't look to closely in the winter). Yes, Southsea, that stern shot is a bit of a giveaway
