Do you guys look for patterns or is it just for looking at when you want a trip down memory lane?

Do you guys look for patterns or is it just for looking at when you want a trip down memory lane? Both, the reference is priceless. Also it makes a good read in the more unproductive months! When you get a few years fishing results down, its a great guide. I also write down reliable reports that my mates have told me of their trips. So i can flick through my book and see where done well at a particular time of the year! I know things don't happen the same weekly, but you get a rough guide ! Plus, i have a pattern starting to show in my flatty fishing for sure!
