was in one of my calls today in andover (stanna stairlifts) and saw a poster on the notice on the board
a new tackle shop in andover opened on the 5 oct

i have no idea what the sell as i never had time to pop into today

Good tip pete as i know a few anglers from andover who are always bitching about how they cant get bait and tackle , well now you can !!!!!!! no more excuses lol ,

ok just rang the fella
he is trying to source ragworm at this time and hoping to eventually getting some in
spoke to him at length about other baits
squid macs frozen baits and he has got these in stock
the shop has only been going since the 5 oct but from what i saw yesterday its really well stocked with rods
but how many of them are beach rods i have no idea
i will be going in again next week to have a longer look if i get time

Peter Are you from Andover?  I live in Amesbury and maybe you bumped in to my son when you went to Stanna  Good to know about the new tackle shop, as the one we have here is just a small one and only sells the essentials |

hey all, i lived in andover for 5 years until last year and i think that may have been Cox's tackle.... don't know if it's the same guy re launching it or it's been bought out...? anyway, it always did the frozen baits and the chap who ran it was a real nice guy!! up the other end of town is Challis tackle who are also brilliant and do frozen baits too...... hope that helps. Thanks for the info Pete - only just spotted it. Been landlocked in Andover for nearly two years now for work. I have been known to travel to Fareham & Portsmouth just to have a look round a decent tackle shop.
I'll try and check it out when I can and update this post.
