Fairly straightforward stuff...now an Abu Morrum now thats a reel to take apart.
I always take reels I'm unsure of apart in a large plastic bag so when bits fly out they dont dissaper.
First time I took a Morrum apart one of the springs went through the plastic, but it slowed it down enough to be findable. Took me a hour to figure out how it went back together.
Lovely reels but a bit corrosion prone.

Gazza No criticism intended Gazza, useful link I was only saying that they are a good reel to work on....unlike the Abu Morrum which was an aluminium 7000 series reel that had a wonderful clutch and was a very superior reel. Its just that they were more like a watch to take apart and did tend to get eaten by salt water

No criticism taken Bill.... ;D Ive got thicker skin than that mate.....lol I have to remember when puting links on here that Im in a "Small class" of new sea anglers amoung a very large group of seasoned beachandboat anglers. I have little or no working knowledge of any multis so just hope that occassionally finding a worthwhile link that explains their tuning .....also helps a few others too. I would like nothing more than to sit down at leisure and have somebody take apart a multi in front of me and service/tune it ......all in good time mate....untill then its vid,s. Gazza
