It's taken me long enough, but here it finally is! My new site:
AuctionAngler.co.uk
I built Auction Angler because I was finding myself doing a lot of different searches on eBay over and over again to get the results I wanted - so I built myself a little tool to speed things up for me and I loved it - I'm quite addicted to it now!
This made me think that if I enjoyed using it, others might, so I've made it look pretty, stuck it on a web address, and hey presto, Auction Angler is born!!
Some of the features so far include;
I hope you like the site, and I really hope you find it a real improvement on eBay.
I've got a few ideas for the future if anyone has an interest in them. I thought people might be interested if I wrote something on good security practices when buying, or something like that? Maybe some genuine tackle reviews, and items I would recommend from experience - that sort of stuff. We'll see how we go - I'm planning on getting some fishing done when this bloody wind dies down ;D
There's bound to be a few problems that I haven't discovered so if anything doesn't work properly for you, or if you just want to put an idea forward, or a request, just let me know. I'd like to make it work for everyone so the more feedback the better. PM me, use the Contact Us on the site or post here, whatever you prefer.
Cheers.

Some of the features so far include;
- integrated typos - so when you click on the Daiwa logo for example, it includes auctions where the seller typo'd the name (eg. diawa not daiwa). These can lead to real bargains sometimes as less people find these incorrectly spelt items - now YOU can!
- not as much crap - one thing that has got worse with eBay is the amount of rubbish items that have appeared as everyone has jumped on the eBay bandwagon. I've done my best to remove the worst of the tat from the results. I can adapt this further in the future.
- a thorough category list - eBay suffers massively from only having a few categories in Fishing - for example, Sea Fishing currently only has 7 categories on eBay.co.uk. I have created many more categories so it's more like you'd expect to find in an online tackle shop (eg. you can now browse by Braid, Uptide Rods, or even Bait Elastic!)
- Most Popular Items lists - this is the best bit for me. I can't stop watching these lists. In some categories, like All Reels, I am able to list the most popular items on eBay related to that category. Basically, the way these lists are set up, they will always display the best items - normally the really good stuff that we'd all like. Because they automatically update, whenever you visit these pages you will see the best stuff in an instant - without having to search eBay for an hour to find them. This saves me a massive amount of time.
I hope you like the site, and I really hope you find it a real improvement on eBay.
