my brother uses a knot called the bimmeney twist for leaders which involves huge amount of tangles for me and a nice leader with a shock absorber for me brother can anyone else do it.

I very rarely use anything other than a blood knot (didnt know some of the others on the list) other then when I'm joining a leader.

1/2 bloodknot for low diameter lines (snoods). Grinner for rig bodies, as stiffer line makes it harder to tighten the knots. Bog standard leader knot for the shockleader to main line. 3 granny knots for the rottom bottom Steve

blood knot for every thing except for the bimmeney twist which i use for a two hook flounder or whitting rig from the beach or a two hook running ledger on the boat . once you get the hang of the bimmeney twist it gets easy to tie and save"s on beads,swivals and crimps

I use a Blood knot for most things i have tried doing the bimmeney twisty thing & ended up with a lot of money in the swear box!

uni knot for braid and blood knot or triline knot for mono ,
