Hi all, Where do you get your chemical rod tip-lights? I've been paying 60 to 80p a pop for mine. I've bit the bullet and bought 50 for a tenner at TackleBargains, which works out at 20p each. Also means I won't get caught without, which has happened before. I hear some people get them from EBay? I also hear some of those on EBay are a bit of a crock. Come on, spill them beans! Name and shame!
All the best,
Steve.

My buddy Sean just bought 100 for £10 off ebay - best I have ever seen - I will ask where he got them if folk really want to know. I certainly would not pay above 50p for them - that is a total rip off if you consider that the tackle shop is probably paying no more than 20p . Find another tackle shop mate is my advice cos some of them really rip you off. There is a certain tackle shop in Pompey which I would not touch with a barge pole although plenty do (no names) - I know a guy who recently paid nearly 50 sobs for the same reel as I bought on ebay for £20. He was astounded when I told him.

Try this: www.glow-sticks.org/The mini Glowsticks are the ones you want. I got a load - cheap as chips and OK, but get the yellow or green ones. Avoid the blue - hard to see !

You are right mate ,the larger ones "One Touch" which come in packs of two should be renamed "One works" because I invariably end up having to put another on. I tape 'em on at home now to save the hassle on the beach. There is a smaller version about 20mm X 3mm which is excellent-cant remember the name though. Dont like the look of those big batterie powered tip-lights myself but I guess they do the job.

If you've got a Lidl store in your area keep an eye out at the end of the coarse fishing season, they were selling boxes of 50packs for a fiver last march.
