thats a bit sneaky mate, ha ha ,get a fly rod , and some pike flys. i catch bass on fly ,great sport, good patterns mate

Use somthing similar on the fly rod for Bass and Mackeral, same as Kev. Great fun. Dave

I do have all me own fly gear and used to trout fish and fly tying,200 quids worth on feather and fur that turned to maggots :(bt might have ago cheers Andy

I've got 3 fly rods, not used 'em for about 5 years, not sure they're stiff enough for sea fishing. I do like the look of that silver fly. Like you say, might be worth using it as a dropper in front of a heavier spinner like a wedge or Toby. Might be worth a session down at Brook on a calm high tide!
