your story reminds me of a friend who made a line stripper out of mecano 20 years ago,to much hassle getting it made properly and now is a world best seller with berkley i think.

I know Adam (reelbargains) was using one in recent years to fish delicate harbour rag out at distance.

ummm gaz fishyrob is a member of this forum Hehe.... took me a while to spot this thread though.... The site is now detached from fishyrob, and lives in its own domain - www.Dvice.co.uk And just for you, Mr SkatenChips, there is a customer feedback button, which I have been collating some customers experiences. None of them are my family, although one is a friend. As for the price, I actually think it saves you money. £2, but then all you need to do is add swivels and hooks. No more clips, impact shields etc etc. Next time you set up your terminal tackle, price up what you are possibly about to crack off and then think if £2 is a lot....

Too funny...... Sorry guys, the days of freebies are over. We did actually push out a lot of free ones at a few meets to get people talking about them, and it seems to have worked. I dont think anybody that has used one has knocked it. Some havent been sure about it, but then found a paticular purpose for it and then fall in love with it. We are allready doing repeat ordes, which is the real indicator of what people really want. It comes completely free of all packaging etc, all in an effort to keep the price to a minimum. If we went down the wholesaler/Tackle shop route, it would be costing nearer four pounds to you guys. Look at the cost of some of the swimfeeders out there!
However, I will take you up on your challenge. I can tell you are a cautious buyer, probably because an awful lot of cr*p is forced upon us angling public, so send me your postal address, to Robin@fishyrob.co.uk I know your gonna love it so its as good as a sale!!

I got a free one!! haha, cheers Rob, used it at the weekend, and while its impossible to say if it helped or hindered, I know that I had a good haul of fish on climping beach, eels, dogs and hound pups. (outfished the two anglers I was with). I did find it easy to use, the bait never flew out en-route and it never came back with bait still in, so i guess it works just fine, I will definately be using again and buying more

price seems very good rob... any idea when 3-4oz versions will be available. have you gave much thought to making live eel tubes, around the 1oz (maybe 2 at a push) for very light surf fishing. i can see them being very effective in a long slim diamiter wd.

Hi WD. Absolutely, as fishing sandeel is a favourite of mine also. We have experimented with lighter leads, but there are some production issues. As a result, we are focusing on establsihing the concept with the general use version, that we are currently marketing. Once we have the product established, we have many variants on the design board, for very specific uses. PM me your postal address, and when we get the first lighter prototypes, you will be our first non-associated field tester. Cheers Robin
