While trudging back along the spit from Hurst,I stopped for a chat with an ol guy who it has to be said had the most pucka gear ive seen on a beach. zziplex rods and abu turboes saw him casting for bloomin miles I told him that I too would like to learn Multi casting and was looking for a suitable rod to go with my 7HT. Amoung his many rods he has a Conoflex Nemesis + 13ft ok its 7 yrs old and probly more suited to ruffer ground than pure sand beaches, but it apparently was £265 new and has a excellent casting action quite stiff but ok even for a newby like me. well........£80 2nd hand...seems a bargain that said i dont know sea fishing blanks and wondered if you guys thought it might be worth a tripback to the new forrest to get it. honest as usual....if its poop ....tell me..!!!!! cheers Gaz

to my knowledge they're one of the best rough ground rods that money can buy, i don't own one though, however, the factory is just up the road from me, and they're nice guys !!

Ive had so much positive feed back Pete even from Conoflex themselves said at that money ya gotta have it ...........just dont learn with it too damn stiff......so im gonna get it but save it for future days out on Portland Bill or other ruff terrain. Something Estuary ish or Match ish is better suited to learning so im gonna keep looking. cheers Gaz
