Just bought an Abu Suveran 20-30 and a TLD15. I used it last weekend and a very nice combo it is too, although the reel maybe a little heavy for the rod both are top bits of kit.
Christened it with a couple of nice Bass.

Well done on the bass.
TLD15 is a solid bit of kit, should last you a lifetime but as you say a tad heavy for the 20/30, a cracking reel all the same.
I've now got hold of some Avets, the sx & the mx, the mx will sit lovely on the 20/30 & the sx goes great on 12lb class gear & lighter, perfect on my conoflex 4lb pollack rod.
A mate of mine guinea pigged them & I used one whilst in Alderney for a week solid & I cant think of a single reel that would rival them, not that expensive either.
I had one rod with a 6500 Abu lever drag & the other with the Avet, the abu felt rough as ar*seholes after using the avet. The drag is unbeleivably smooth on the Avet & they really are built for life. I almost dont want to recommend them because as soon as a UK distributor starts pushing them they'll take off & the prices will hike no doubt! but they're too good to say nought about! I thoroughly recommend them!
