PENNEL HOOKS

Hi all, can you suggest a decent hook to make up pennel rigs with . I guess they might take a bit more punishment than a single hook ? --Thanks clive

i like the vikings or sakumas manta extra(think i spelt that wrong)
both hooks are very strong and sharp

I would have thought you would be ok with pretty much any hook to make them.

Anything in your hook box will do, so long as there's plenty of lovely sharp point showing. Iv been blanking with Varivas big mouth bass hooks, really nice hook, but seem to repel the Kentish bass!!!

partridge pennel sting point, they are cheap, strong, sharp and made for the job.

I `had` some mustard hooks with the `bent back eye`. The amount of bites i missed was extraordinary Needless to say i binned the whole lot! ;D
