Stay clear the worst hooks I have ever used! Half the box has square points and they break under any kind of serious load, another case of rat face putting his name to any ole nadgers........

Heh, all you ask from hooks is for them to be sharp and not break, I don't think blunt, fragile hooks are going to take the world by storm...

I agree that they sure do seem to loose their sharp point a bit quick, more of a disposable hook really!

I've used two patterns of these hooks. One is terrible for the points bending over, the other is a superb very strong excellent pattern for skate. Trouble is, I dont remember which one is which.....

Surprised at that, I use Alan Yates Super XW 1/0 & 2/0 and think they are a great hook, stay sharp for ages - caught fish, never bent - worried now .....

If you have the slightest hanger into a rock then always check the point. You will find with these hooks that the point bends very easily. You can actually bend them back by rubbing the tip on a stone but its not advisable.

Already did in last months issue on their new 3-pc rods!! ,see Neil no longer with Penn after Shakespeare bought them..,You will never see a bad review in any of the mags, all down to money, you slag our gear off,we wont advertise in them =loss of income(monthly).

Good point. Its like the music mags/papers i used to buy....if the band of the moment brought out a new album, the mag would never slag it as the band would never give them an exclusive interview. Put it this way, `standing on the shoulders of giants` by oasis got 9/10 from melody maker. Now its `standing in the bargain bin in woolworths`. Enough said.
