A little tip which might be useful to those who make their own clipped down rigs: I have wished for a long time that I could make such a rig with some "adjustment" in it so that if I need to hang a fresh snood on it or slightly vary the dimension of the snood root to clip so to speak then I could slide the crimps around. Noticed a little ad in Sea Angler, whilst yet again surveying AY's 'orrible mug, which appeared to solve the problem - Breakaway rubber lined crimp. However, tackle shop did not have any but then I am not easily defeated and they did have some large diameter crimps and some rubber tubing which seemed like it might fit in the crimps. Very pleased to report that it works - assuming one uses fairly large diameter line for the main rig body which I do - 0.70 mm in fact, you will find that you can carefully crimp with the rubber inside the crimp so that the crimp is slideable but not so much that the snood won't more or less stay put.
