i have a penn powerstick that i brought just over a year ago,and i noticed after my last fishing trip that the liner in the top eye was missing and also in the second one down,can anyone give me some advise about what to do with it? weather they are easy enough to replace or its somthing for the tackle shop, cheers

Like all things, if you know what your doing its easy! So I suggest that if you've not done it before to take the rod down your local tackle shop. It shouldn't cost too much. ;D If your determined to have a go try this, www.fishing.co.uk/article.php3?id=689

thanks for the link,looks easy enough but im not sure i wana give it a go! might just take it down the takleshop, does any one know a tackle shop that does it?

any good tackle shop will do it if it was the top eye only they would prob be able to do it whilst you wait but because you need the second done as well you will prob need to leave it with them for a few days
should cost no more than 15 quid less in some cases

there is a tackle shop in woolsten that should be able to help you out, im not sure on price's, but have been told it's a good tackle shop.
