Can anyone recommend any cold weather clothing, in particular I'm looking at getting a one-piece suit. Any advice would be great

My mate had one of those suits then sold it again - OK for boats but a bit restrictive for beach work. Personally I use 1. Good quality thermal longjohns 2. Lined shirt topped with a good quality thick fleece and a waterproof over that which keeps the wind out so the fleece gives plenty of insulation. 3. Faux fur lined waterproof boots or waders if it's a wet night. With the exception of the waders, all the kit can be used in other scenarios too.

I've got a fladden 2 piece. nce and warm. But don't believe the rubbish about wearing shorts and T-shits underneath. The stitching on the inner thigh gives way if you are walking long distances too. I've heard good things about Under Armour (http://www.justsocca.com/product_index.asp?selCManufacturer=UA) I know a guy that fishes the flattie comps on the IOW midwinter that swears by it.

Can't be ar**d with heavy suits on the beach. Often fish 3 or 4 nights a week in the winter with sensible layers under my Anyfishanywhere light suit which has done me well for four years without a tear! My German Army snow hat is indispensable, though! I tend to make do with jeans and trainers most of the time and never feel cold! (Where there's no sense, etc ....?)

I used to have a Sundridge two piece. Handy if you ever ended up in the drink, but not actually anything special for keeping you warm. It was just an unnecessary expense in my opinion. I hung it in the shed for no more than a week after a trip once to find mice had chewed holes clean through it, foam and all!
So now I just wear a dark regatta waterproof coat (nice and warm) and a pair of waterproof thermal trousers from Millets, much better (and cheaper).

I've given up on the bottom half of my fladden two piece. I wear neoprene chest waders with jeans and tracky bottoms underneath.

I got a Sundrige SAS mk2 2 piece, excellent bit of kit, trouble with one piece they can get a tad warm, least with 2 piece you can just wear the jacket.
