Ok.......lets carry on with the winter wear shall we so....ive got a warm crutch now with me under wear and im suitably dry with my floaty............... but what about the tootsies........ I guess trainers and work boots might be used but i was thinking of Thermal boots........... Woss ya Fav,s. for this coming winter. Gazza

Skeetex boots, had about 4 pairs over the last ten years, absolute mustard untill the inards wear out.

Hi Skaty, Recently got meself some Regatta Waterproof walking boots at a knock-down price. So far so good with some proper thick socks - it was dam cold a few nights last week but my feet stayed warm.

Sundridge hotboots if its likely to be wet, otherwise a nice pair of DM's. and 2 pairs of socks. Sorted.

Had Skeetex moon boots for 12 yrs..... liners are about £15 ...last ages warmest ive known. neg......not ideal for long hikes. Gazza

ive got a pair of thinsulate thermal boots £35.00 very very warm , not too good in the wet though !!!!
