Just bought this item for £40 with delivery does this sound good for almost new multi? My first time with a multi, should it be ok? Many thanks  |

Is it open cage, or does it have a levelwind? What colour/model is it as there are models based on the 6500 size?
Open cage reels will give you more distance, while a levelwind will do what it says on the tin and 'lay the line evenly' to avoid birdsnests.
£40 either way sounds a good enough deal to me.

thats a mag elite and £40 is a good price there a nice reel easy to cast

I've never seen a blue mag elite. Originally they were green but have had some colour variations recently but not blue to my knowledge. Could be a sports mag though or maybe a rocket or standard elite. What was the item number? In any case £40 is a good enough price  |

IMHO almost any Abu in working condition is worth £40 even the chinese ones.
