Bloody hell .............. what a difference,so much for 120yd casts in good conditions Took the 525 and new rod to a nice wide part of the Thames today...........fat chance Gazza. Strong head wind that killed me casts,I played with the mag breaking cos the wind was blowing the cast all over the place never got over 90yds .with 4oz leads and had a couple of back lashes...dammit. another spool of line down the kazeee........ never mind its an interesting learnin curve this multi casting just gotta see what it can do in all the different conditions. Good to get out though. ;D Gazza

It's a bugger isn't it ? Try casting with a lower trajectory and upping the weight a bit.

I have a 525 supermag so when casting into strong headwinds i put the mags right up and i have no problems, but i can only cast around 70 yards though.
