Hello all Seeing as this weekend's weather looks to be a deal less hidious for beach or boat alike than recently, what have you got planned ? I'm a bit torn between trying one of my favourite Hillhead cliff spots for a late go for a bass (tides a bit short though), or the deeper water marks like Gilkicker or Browndown at Gosport for the same (can fish OK on smaller tides).

Well good luck richard, i may have a few casts at my local freshwater bay if the swell dies down enough. Good chance of a bass there and half decent pollack. I have not fished there enough this year (mainly due to the weather) so i guess i`ll get a couple of trips in there before the year is out

I intend to be giving it a few goes in the River Hamble over the Christmas / New year period. I'll be disappointed if a few can't be contacted there. Humble fish - but I love a bit of flattie bashing .

If my memory serves me right there is precious little else to go for around here Richard. n.b. My freshwater club P.D.A.S has a good stretch of the hamble with nice grayling ,and trout fishing.
