ive a cuboard full of rods in 72" tubes and up here(heathrow) the locals dont seem to keep anything much longer 6ft 6ins=78ins Ive now got 2 sea rods with tips that measure upto 88" and im fearful of snappin em...........any tips on storage or is drainage pipes my only way forward. cheers Gazza

Why not try a local carpet seller for Carboard Tubes that come with the rolls of carpet? OK for home storage, but no good if you wish to use the tube to carry them to the beach. That or ... Find some local drainage / roadworks where they are laying Poly Pipe and do a pikey

muddy puddle rich.....ark at you my rods all Shimano Diaflash are born and bread and used on movin water mate.....Thames /Avon /Stour/Severn/ none O that stillwater muck for my kit. and as for sellin em......fat chance ..and that includes the sea gear, im tryin to assemble me sea stuff not sell it. youve gotta remember....ive seen you cast..... you stay with the Shaky Rich...... ;D Gazza
