Number one choice would be the Ron Thompson, unless u can get your hands on one secondhand ( the new ones are useless)These type of shelters are excellent, i've fished in a storm force eight with no signs of movement, although there is a nack to putting them up in very windy conditions!.there is something u need to remember, and consider which type of shelter or brolly route you go down-where do i normally fish.If you fish the back of the island, shingle and sandy beaches there is nothing better,BUT if you fish places like fort vic, down the medina where there is no shingle or sand them you might be better with a brolly. If you go down the brolly route go for a 45 inch(any larger and you'll be doing a Mary Poppins down the beach!!) but the choice is yours if you go expensive or cheap on the brolly, remember you get what you pay for.

My "50" inch brolly has been through the wars and is yet to fly away after 7 yrs use. The stake plus 2 x36ins bank sticks are fine for soil /shingle/sand or hard ground I use 4 guide ropes wrapped around any available rox. For added stability on shingle beaches I use 4x 75p bathroom travel items bags from tesco and fill em with shingle and string em around me brolly.........all that said The holden camps look snug.....but are £130 odd squid unless any deals are forthcoming.
