hello people i was just wondering i wanted to know what the slosh-20 was like the 1st one that came out. My dad came home today with all my xmas cards(opened them) and got £70. I am thinking of getting one of these reels for uptiding and boat fishing also shore work are they a good reel?

Hi Colby, You can't go far wrong with a slosh-20, I'v got three and have been useing them ever since they came out, never had any problems with them, I use mine for light boat and rough ground shore marks, can highly recommend them, the HT7's are my favourite reels, I have five of them. Like the slosh's I'v never had any problems with them also. Hope this helps. Tight lines M.I.B

went down the beach today with it filled it up with diawa tournoment 18lb with 50lb shockleader. Brilliant couldent ask for a better casting session. got snagged up once but manged to get the led out of it. Fitted both red blocks in and still flys with ultimate controll. I used my penn mag xtra yesterday and i dunno wich of the 2 are better. But if i really had to pick then it would be the mag xtra. Cuse of that xtra bit of controll and smoothness. I was butt casting fine with a summit beachcaster. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
