O.K. I have one of these and on the last trip (if you can call it that, got blown off after a few hours ) anyway I noticed the end spool cap was missing.
I now have a new one plus a rubber washer and what looks like a couple of square copper bits, only small.
What are they for ? Do they sit on first then rubber washer before the end cap ?

they sit inside the new end cap you have mate,i think they are used to stop the spool spindle wearing the end cap

All in one piece again now, never know might get to use it sometime.
