i use a P&M mouldings tripod, they're very stong. other tripods only have flat bars on the rod cups and holders wich are prone to bending. P&M ones are box sectoin making them very strong i got mine from justin (flatfish on the forum) he will be able to do you a good deal
tightlines, scott

ive got the mustad 6 foot rod holdall and the 6 foot sections always full of rods and cheers mate Has your holdall got a couple of straps on the outside for the tripod Micheal? Another tripod worth recommending is the Ian Golds one. Its 'the industry standard' of the tripod world A very good bit of kit, all the tackle shops in Pompey will deal with them. Go and see Anton, at Lock Stock and Tackle in Copnor Rd if its close to you, I replaced my one there a couple of years ago, he's good on price.
