Horses mouth job...I'd trust what Julian says. probably a lot of rod for d money but...if I had the cash I'd still buy British (Blank)

He was pretty honest,for every 50 anglers that walk into a tackle shop door 30 will buy a sub £100 rod cos thats what they can afford...another 10 spend £100/150 and the remainder are in a different league....£150plus. He sed hes trying to fill a niche with the "6" after talking with dealers and seeing for himself who uses what..!!!! All the range are apparently all his own design,but with supply and demand and sourcing cheap but good quality Carbon and fittings he like a lot of others found the far east to be the most cost effective supplier. Luv it or hate it,ive been using Top quality Shimano Rods and poles for 40 yrs and cant fault their production...IMHO. That said,like you mate....If it had a big fat.made in Britain stamp on the blank and I could afford such luxuries and got a lot of use from it .....id buy it every time. Gazza  |
