Hi to all, i have a conoflex vampire mark 2 rod and i ham thinking of replacing the coasters with a sliding reel seat.Its diameter is 20.4mm.Can enybody say tell me the best make to fit.

i think the "abu" type would cover that size i find them strong when set tight but what i do like is if only do up one side so with a small amount of force you can make small changes in position after each cast untill you are happy then when tight they wont move at all , hope this helps dean

I HAD a century sliding real seat on my century when i bought it ,took it straight off !! load of sh*t !!!! but the abu esprit i bought 2 years ago with sliding real seat is the nuts ,had no prob's with it ,feels comfortable and has a trigger like grip at the back which in my opinion feels just right . If i was going to buy a real seat it would be abu . Good luck with which ever one you choose

I have one on my greys that you can slide anywhere on your rod butt like coasters. There is a mag in the tea shed at work that has them in. I thought they were called "fox seats" but i cant find nothing on Google about them which is strange. I`ll double check the name tomorrow and post it on here. They are bloody good seats, plastic, but they don't look like they will break in a hurry.
