As I said uptiders will still hold their own with most modern rods. No experiance of the boat rods

Nothing that Daiwa have ever made since comes close to the Amorphous range, i Have 2 AWTs and 2 20-50lb boat and wouldnt swap them, would love a uptider but i aint paying ebay money for 1.

was gonner tell you Daz then saw you were bidding on the 20/50 so you got it then. Me and Nick having 1 each on the uptiders with post 325 squid thou was bidding on the12/20 but that went over a hundered.

i have been lucky enough to use both beach and boat Amorphus whiskers.. unfortunately none were mine! i havnt used a rod since that betters either of them!

The Amorphous Whisker braid that Daiwa used to build these rods became rediculously expensive which is why they ceased production.
