I ordered a 25.2 mm Abu Griplock with trigger grip to fit my
new Anyfish Anywhere Match Rod 25mm butt size only to find
that once locked in place it was still much to loose on the blank
I was advised to put "more" shrink tube on the Butt...or stuff cardboard under the device.
Which to me defies to object of buying a one end locking
reel seat....if it doesnt work without tweaking.!!!
It did fit the Penn 525/535 reel foot great but when I tried
my Daiwa 7HT the foot is much to big and will not lock at all.
I have since swapped it for a 26mm Ron Thompson seat and have to say it is "spot on" .
It locks .....both ends on the blank nice and tightly without
adding any cardboard /extra shrinktube.
It also fits snug on my 525/535/7HT.
They are about the same price.
I have seen a Fugi/Century reel seat that looks identical to the
RT one......dunno who was the original...but the RT works fine.
