i broke a friends well which was a friend until now .rod today it was a grays grx (crap condition) with eyes missing etc about a foot and abit has broke from the top are these sort of things repairable broke midway between two eyes (didn't snap when casting) i snapped it when i was just seeing what they felt like and he picked up his other rod as i was midway between swinging it into a cast and banged onto his other rod  |

Oh dear Colby....its one thing breaking your rod.....but to break someone else's  .....shame on you!! If its a Grey's rod then it should be covered with a lifetime guarantee........as long as you don't tell them you broke it having a sword fight with you ex mate you should be fine ;D |

Oh dear Colby....its one thing breaking your rod.....but to break someone else's .....shame on you!! If its a Grey's rod then it should be covered with a lifetime guarantee........as long as you don't tell them you broke it having a sword fight with you ex mate you should be fine ;D apparently they like have to send it of and they have tchnices of finding out if it broke in a cast  |

take it in2 scottys c alan 35 quid 4 any greys tip as they got life time garanty and u get a new 1 trust me

Greys rods come with an unconditional warranty. I shut mine in a car door and they replaced the section.

i snaped my grx in a cast and took it back to hansfords and they replaced it there and then for me, because it was under warranty, should work for yours maybe leave out a few of the particulars of how it got broken

Anywhere but scotties! I snapped mine by a silly mistake on my part, but am still waiting for a replacement.......4 months down the line! Now i`m resigning myself to the fact they are shite RODS, shite SERVICE!  |

also got a few mate who have snapped them during casts.. hmmmmmm! im surprised i havnt snapped any of my Abus with the amount of stick they get! built like shite-houses made of portland stone mind!

conolon beach rods have a tendancy to snap so i hear! i have an Xodus and a suveranXS. hardly use the Xodus anymore but its a great rough ground rod and has had more stick than the other one.
conolon boat rods are good as gold!! recomended above the suverans any day!
