Hey Guys
First post on the site! Anyone used this rod? What's it like? General reviews seem positive. Thinking of getting a couple to cover pretty much all of my shore fishing. Any one have any thoughts?

i've had one for about 2 years and still as happy with it as i was on day one. it's great for mixed gorund, equaly as good for rough ground and for clean sand/shingle. it's a powerful rod and can take abit of stick during casting. bite indication is also good.
i recommend it as a brilliant all round beach caster.
why did you put it in the "bad reviews" bit?
you might get more info on it in the tackle section. so would someone of authority move it for him...? ;D

I remember why I posted here now! I heard somewhere that the Griplock reel seat was giving trouble on the latest ones! Obviously this hasn't been a problem for you.

brilliant rod !! prefer it to my suveran for casting light baits, the griploks are fine when used with an abu reel, the slosh jams it up though !
