Portchester would be worth ago for some flounder & bass Chalkie, you could give tipner ranges ago that usually produces some flounders & is quite close to you.

Portchester & Tipner is close to you, train & bus to both. Tipner is close to Mountbatten Centre & Portchester is a little way past Port Solent.
