raymarine sounder

this ds600 was the biggest piece of junk i ever had on my boat.
it would lose the sea bed constantly and kept on fogging up.even a chap from raymarine could not suss it out,so it had to go
raymarine should stick to radar and leave sounders to furuno.




now this is the dogs danglies that i have onboard now.

i got the older raymarine sounder L760 with chatplotter it is a brillant bit of kit must be the new breed are crap

the older ones are good its just these digital ones that are crap and well overated (priced)
with my furuno i can set the gain and zoom in and actually see the weight on my line at 200ft.

Got the DS 600 raymarine on mine never had a problem at all,
+ a Raymarine DSM300 Sounder Module best bit of kit on the boat, think you may have had a dodgey one ;D
