not sea fishing gear i know,but theres a few out there like me who love to catch macks/gars/smuts on something lighter that yer average beach pole. well i've had three of these(all brought at the same time)2.75lbx2 1x3lb rouge model,and they were shite,the gnome managed to snap one 6in above the reel seat(2.75)the other 2.75 the ring linings just cracked and fell out at the slightest touch,the only one still going is the spod version(soz,not 3lb tc)and this needs a new tip ring as the braid(used for one sesh)has cut a groove in the lining.....next one will have to be the century spod

More suited to casting 6 - 8 oz of lead. If your in the market for a carp type rod, have a chat with this guy: www.marktunley.com/index.htm . He is very helpfull, wont try and sell you a rod but he maybe able to point you in the right direction. I could recomend some Century rods but I guess you don't want to spend £200+ Steve
