Just been watching deadlist catch, a programe that follows trawlers for crabs etc into the Baering Sea, into temps of -25 Deg C I know we blame them for the massive reductions in fish numbers, but OMG they do go through hell to earn a wage

Amen to that Viffer - Nothing against commercial fishermen per se, just as long as it's done in a sustainable way.

What an awesome prog that is, me and squidhead like nothing more than a few beers watching `dangerous catch `;D We have both been on `channel` crab boats in the past and can respect what those guys go through. What we went through was not a lot different, except for the coldness they endure The hours and rough weather i n longer miss! ;D

your right vifferrider and crew they wouldnt put there live on the line just too ruin are fishing and for crabs if there the ones that nick my bait making me blank there free too take

I agree its a kool prog & boy do tho's guys go through it, just one thing puzzels me!! they only keep the male crabs, its gotta be a living hell for the few male crabs left with all tho's females down there!
