Does sound a good idea, i`m sure i`ll up anchor and fish the mainland soon as possible!  A `beach and boat` meet surely must be done one day! |

Sure is. I reckon a lot of members are from the southampton/east of southampton area.....so if we find a good mark around there, happy days. I`m sure squidhead will take us island boys over in his boat!

I think a good time to do this would be early or late autumn, so everyone can get their summer holiday duties out of the way and stuff. I don't mind getting over to the Pompey area as its easy from ryde hovercraft (i could hang my feathers out for a few bits of bait if they slow down a bit)
Is this a good idea? We all have ages to decide on a venue, so maybe the Pompey lads could put their knowledge together and come up with a `cant fail` mark ,,,,heheh,

id be quite happy to go the island or pompy, but the island would be a nice change from the normal for me

Maybe when we decide on the dates (to coincide with good tides of course) we could maybe do a poll on the areas we would like as the venue.
