I've just been on the blower to a mate who like myself has promised to make more fishing time this coming year. He was wondering if anyone could recommend a beach league, something like the penn points scheme. If there was something more locally based (Portsmouth, Southampton) even better. Anyone in the know.

Hey mate .
tell your mate to forget about beach leagues , and just concentrate on fishing for the new year , after all we are all out to catch fish , and not just to score points !!!!!!! depends on how fishing minded you are i suppose , but the penn league , is probably the best league to be in , if you can get past that bloody lee cullen lol hes 1 top angler !!!!!!!!!!!,
